Have you ever noticed that no matter which political party is in control of the White House, policy never truly changes? No matter what political promises the candidates make, or what their stances are on critical issues, once in office, nothing ever changes. Sure, some presidents produce a surplus while others produce a recession. Some start wars, some end them. But in the end, the policies just do not change. It makes one wonder if just maybe the true people in power are not elected. But who are these people? And why are they so determined to undermine gay marriage, abortion, legalizing cannabis, and supporting Israel? Are they the same people that perform false flag operations to incite outrage and demand for vengeance? Are they the ones that put people like Hitler, Castro, Chavez, Saddam, and others into power? Yes, the American government has been responsible for pretty much every dictator rising to power in the past century. Why? To take control of areas with profitable resources such as cocaine, oil, and vital seaports for trade.
The real question, though, is why do they put the same men in power that they then turn into public enemies? Well, they have to vilify them once the public sees what they are doing. They are not concerned about the public image until it turns ugly. Just look at Hitler. America wanted a war. Germany just lost World War I and needed something big to establish their new identity and restore national pride, as well as find someone to blame. They put a man named Adolf Hitler into the public eye blaming Jews and voila, Germany has a purpose and a scapegoat. The pope at the time even sanctioned his mission to kill the Jews. Then World War II begins as he crosses Europe to wipe out the Jewish population. It wasn't until the public outcry came that suddenly Hitler was a bad man and needed to be stopped.
The same goes for Osama Bin Laden, a.k.a Tim Osman. He was a CIA asset placed in Afghanistan to fight the Russians and liberate the Afghan people from communist rule. He was fully trained to do exactly what was done on 9/11 and various other terrorist activities by our own CIA and only turned into a villain when Americans were killed by one of his attacks. It is once again not until the public learns of atrocities that the American government turns their backs on their own. Why do you suppose we never hear of failures of the CIA's agents? Because when they do, they are no longer assets of the CIA, but enemies of the state. That is the world of the covert. Secretly place your own people in power and when the world hates them, label them the enemy and kill them. All this has gone unchanged no matter which political party is in power. No matter who is in office or what they claim their policies are. They are still limited by the real people in charge as to what power they can truly exert. You will never see a law pass that these people do not want enacted. You will never see any president do anything these people do not want done. Period.

Easy ways to get out of a recession
The big corporations ensure that we will likely remain in a recession for a very long time. The government is not doing much to counter this. Imagine you have the power to put an end to all the financial hardship of your country and yet you choose not to do so. What kind of person would that make you? What if you knew that certain practices were best left unused and yet did nothing? What if you knew that certain unnecessary laws were actually preventing a big economic boom? It is every American's responsibility to do what they can legally to make a living and stay afloat financially. In order to pay the bills, you must make more money than you owe and then pay those debts. But what if the only way to do so was to stop doing what you have been for a very long time? What if your policies and strategies were actually inhibiting your ability to pay your bills? You would suffer financially, would you not? Why doesn't the government realize this? Because the big corporations pad their wallets while the rest of us suffer. The big oil and lumber companies, which are the biggest sources of pollution and environmental crises on the planet, will do what they can to prevent sources such as hydrogen, wind, and solar power to eliminate the pollution caused by fossil fuel usage, or products such as hemp to make paper and clothes from taking away their profits. They are paying our politicians to keep these things from taking off to prevent their own pockets from not taking in as much money. Corporate greed is the root of American hardship.
Let me dwell on the topic of hemp for a little bit. Many of you think you know about the dangers of marijuana usage. But how many are truly verse in the subject? We all know about the prohibition of alcohol. Alcohol was proven to be a big cause of lacking productivity in the workforce. People got drunk and did not do their jobs as well. It also damages the liver, leads to violence and car accidents and can actually kill people. I can totally understand and justify the prohibition of alcohol. Yet nobody that is against marijuana ever seems to pay attention to how harmful the legal drug of alcohol is. Why is that? Why do we only care about the plant that grows out of the ground and makes people giggle uncontrollably but not the unnatural alcoholic products that have caused many deaths and injuries yet remains perfectly legal? Cannabis/hemp is the #1 cash crop in the United States and would provide our government with over 1 BILLION dollars of tax revenue if legalized. So why is it illegal? It is illegal because it's non-drug related use would impact the lumber and oil industries. It is a far cheaper source of fuel, is much cheaper for making paper, and works great for making rope and clothing for much cheaper than most other sources. People do not die from using hemp products any more than they do from not getting enough sleep. The propaganda needs to stop, and the government needs to realize that people will use illegal substances more often than readily available legal products. In countries where drugs are legal, guess how many people are in jail for dealing? Guess how many people are addicted? Guess how many people are heavy users? If you do the research, you will see that these places are not known for drug abuse. They are known for having a very low percentage of moderate-to-heavy users. Nobody is in jail for their use or sale. Not to mention there is no risk of the drugs being laced with dangerous chemicals since they are regulated and ensured to be safe. It is a plant. It grows out of the ground. This goes for the coca plant (cocaine) and many other "drugs" that are not dangerous until humans mess with them. Marijuana is far safer and definitely should not be illegal as it is not nearly as likely to lead to death as substances such as LSD, PCP, or similar drugs. It should just have an age limit like alcohol and cigarettes. Before you know it, no more recession, and millions if not billions of our tax dollars would no longer be wasted on possession or sale of marijuana. Imagine that. Simple solution!

Politics and religion
It is no secret that politicians are often forced to bow down to religious pressures to truly be accepted by their constituents. This was never more evident than with Obama's presidential campaign, as well as with any politicians claiming to be pro-choice in the ever present abortion debate. Obama's popularity got so strong that Sarah Palin felt the only way to slow him down was to spread propaganda that he may be a Muslim. Due to the ever-growing xenophobia of Americans, and new hatred and fear of Muslims, this lead to more fervor than she bargained for. She even was forced to tell her voters that she does not truly believe he is a Muslim and that they should respect him. But the damage was done. Some people even shouted bigoted phrases about the future president such as "terrorist" and said he should be killed before he could take office. Since then, Obama has asserted he is indeed a Christian and faithful church goer. He is even in photographs entering and exiting his church. Can you imagine what would have happened if he had stated he did not believe in a god? Or if he confessed to truly being a Muslim? The irony is that the original settlers in America, the Puritans, had come here to escape religious oppression and persecution, only to become embroiled in the Witch Trials, killing any woman that spoke her mind. America has been fueled by xenophobia for centuries, and to this very day people still seem afraid to truly say what they truly believe. Politicians should, at the very least, be the ones to tell us what is really on their minds. If they cannot tell the world what they truly believe, how can we ever truly believe a word they say?
I am not sure who it was, but there was a politician in the United States in the past 10 years that had openly stated they did not believe in a god. Shortly afterwards, the outrage that broke out caused them to rescind the statement and claim to be an avid church goer and a true believer in a god. This is one thing that should never happen. Nobody should ever be forced to renounce their beliefs because the majority disagrees with them. I certainly do not allow the vast majority of Christians and other deists to influence the beliefs I broadcast, and nobody else should either. I would not trust a politician that only says they believe in a god because their constituents would never vote for a godless heathen. Our founding fathers separated church and state for a reason, and warned us all of the dangers of allowing religion to influence laws and other political functions. Unfortunately, their warnings went unheeded, and we see the end result of that failure everywhere. Back to the topic of abortion as a primary example, the only reason that abortions will never be legal in this country is because no politician can be pro-choice without committing political suicide. Voters will not support a pro-choice candidate. This was never more evident than when Mitt Romney was forced to change his stance to pro-life when he had initially stated he felt a woman had the right to choose, which caused him to fall in the polls. He has since been a staunch pro-lifer and has not looked back. The problem is that the pro-lifers believe that life begins at conception, while the rest of the world knows that life begins either on first breath or when the heart starts beating and other vital functions start. Then comes the argument of the "soul" which has never had any proof it ever has or ever will exist. Some believe that the soul becomes infused at conception, while others feel it does so shortly after. The thing about the soul, however, is that there is absolutely no reason to believe there even is one. Some argue a soul makes us human. They say that without one, we are inherently evil, and might as well be savage beasts. Others believe that all humans are inherently good and we all have the capacity for compassion, love and honor, it is just that many people prefer the dark to the light. All living things can be good or bad, not just humans. Therefore, a soul is not requisite to be good as opposed to evil. And since all humans are claimed to have souls, and many humans do terrible things, the entire point is moot before the argument even began. Human beings are the only species on this planet that kills its own out of cold blood. Think about that.

Faith
Believe what you want. I won't take your right to do so away from you. But then again, how often do you extend me the same courtesy? One of the biggest problems with the religious is their constant efforts to shove their beliefs down the throats of others. Whether it be imposing their "laws" on everyone around them, or their religious convictions that mass murder, violence, degradation, and blind hatred are not only justifiable, but mandated by a higher power. The ironic part is that these same people preach love, kindness, acceptance, and compassion. All the while they look down on homosexuals and followers of other faiths. They turn their backs on their own family members for not fitting the cookie cutter image their faith aims to broadcast. They ask for any given situation questions such as "What would Jesus do?" while shunning their siblings or children. They talk about how showing compassion makes you better than your enemy while also saying the infidels do not deserve mercy.
This is nothing new. It has been going on for as long as man has believed in a god. Just looking at the history of man since the dawning of the times of the deity shows you the hypocrisy behind every word the self-righteous utter every day. Did you know that Jesus was just an ordinary man until a group of highly secretive early Christians decided more people would follow them if they worshiped a god-man? Not to mention that it was only after 300 years had past that they decided that Mary was the "mother of god" and not until 1854 that the "virgin birth" was ever mentioned. Is it any wonder all this happens in a faith that bases so much on books in the Bible that conflict each other and in most cases just make no sense? Does anyone actually believe that these apostles of Jesus had a scribe jotting down everything they said and did over an extensive period of time? This does not even touch on the stories of Adam and Eve, Moses, Noah and the arc, or Abraham, Isaac, and the branching off of the 3 Abrahamic religions.
The most amusing thing about all these religions fighting each other and preaching how they are the only true faith is that it all stems back to a faith each and every one of them attempted to stamp out: Paganism. The major three faiths of today all have one thing in common, that being they are monotheistic. That means they only have 1 god. Pagans worshiped many gods, and to these three faiths, that is a major no-no. Christians insist you cannot go to heaven without accepting Jesus. Muslims insist that Allah is the only god. Jews believe they are the original "chosen" people of Yahweh, and nobody else will ever go to heaven but them. But considering that Christians were once a sect of Jews known as the Essenes that felt that the Jewish tradition of being a pure race faith you had to be born into and nobody else could join it at all was unfair. They just wanted to have a god that accepted anyone that wanted to believe in it. Now, if there really was a god, something like this would not fly at all. Obviously, it is not up to us humans to decide what our god allows or not. So right from the beginning, the Essenes (Christians) already violated a key aspect of an infallible and superior god by deciding the rules and laws already set by it could be altered to suit the plans of those in power. It wasn't for centuries later that they became known as Christians and somehow had a man born as the son of god that somehow allowed sins to be forgiven and became the only way into heaven. Then the Muslims, led by Mohammad, decided that the prophets of the Bible were actually Muslims and not Jews, and created an offshoot of Isaac story with his "brother" Ismael that supposedly traded his birth right and thus forever caused a rift between Jews and Muslims. Ironically enough, Mohammad only hated the Jews after they refused to convert to his new religion. He originally respected them and wanted to befriend them.
It is just sad that so many use religion to make themselves out to be better than their neighbors. They use it to justify violence, hate crimes, rape, murder, disowning children, burning of books, slaughter of millions of innocent people, the destruction of ancient cultures, and the suppression of science. Galileo's eyes were gouged out for suggesting the earth revolved around the sun. They were so determined to keep the earth as the center of the universe because it was where god created man, and man had to be egocentric as he is superior to all else. I could go into every other atrocity committed by the religious, but that will have to wait for another blog.
